ADVANCED MACHINING FOR INNOVATIVE
AND EXPERIMENTAL MOLDS AND DIES
We currently have two machining stations dedicated to producing innovative and experimental molds and dies.
The Millturn M35-G machining station is capable of milling and turning parts up to 11.8 in. (300 mm) in length. It can also be used to produce test components quickly. It minimizes preparation time by providing advanced pre-job simulations and postprocess analysis. Manufacturing tolerance is 0.0008 in. (0.02 mm) or less for linear dimensions and 0.0012 in. (0.03 mm) for position and location.
The Hermle C42U 5-coordinate machining station is capable of precisely arranging elements relative to one another. It is used to finalize complex molds and parts up to 31.5 x 31.5 x 31.5 in. (800 x 800 x 800 mm) and 660 lb (300 kg).
