The Impala extended-range ESP system can handle flowrates from 377–14,150 bbl/d (60 m3/d–2250 m3/d). This wide operating range enables our customers to run a single ESP in wells with fluctuating or rapidly declining production rates (as in shale plays, tight reservoirs, and deeper zones) instead of having to replace the ESP as production levels change.
The Impala electrical submersible pumping (ESP) system delivers the flexibility and performance needed to maximize production and recovery in conventional and unconventional wells with unstable and rapidly declining production rates. It enables you to minimize ESP changeouts and reduce production spend over the life of the well.
Like all Novomet ESPs, the Impala system handles thrust conditions effectively to reduce workovers and extend runlife. With the ability to continue pumping across a wide range of flowrates, this system provides operational stability even as conditions fluctuate. The result is a reliable, dependable ESP that keeps producing longer in flex-flow, low-flow, and declining-flow wells.
