Tubing-mounted sliding sleeves can be opened and closed to selectively control fluid flow from different zones in a well. They are particularly effective at reducing water cut when early water breakthrough occurs in a specific production zone. Our sliding sleeves are opened and closed mechanically with a standard sleeve shifting tool. An internal sleeve slides open to enable communication between the tubing and the tubing casing or the annulus. Shifting tools can be run on slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, or jointed tubing. Expandable shifting tools are also available for passing through restrictions.
Sliding sleeves are run in line with the tubing string, either alone or with multiple sleeves in a single string to add flexibility. Accessory tools can be added to the string using the nipple profile in the top sub and the bore in the bottom sub. We can also place orifice style chokes in the sleeves if required to control zonal flow. Sliding sleeves are available for most applications including corrosive environments, can be ordered in all common sizes, and are compatible with industry-standard wireline plugs.
